Meet Kelsi

Kelsi, a 13-year-old black Labrador Retriever, is a certified therapy dog and Leslie's co-therapist. She accompanies Leslie to work
most days, and is excited to do her job of greeting and loving Leslie's clients. Kelsi was certified by Therapy Dogs International (TDI) when she was just 16 months old.

With incredible patience and understanding, Leslie has an undeniable ability to zero-in on the real issue. No matter how I try to talk around something, she always manages to bring it back to the core and help me to understand, own and embrace what is really going on – or being taped. Not always pleasant, generally hard to face up to – but always honest, direct and done with a caring heart and delightful sense of humor. I have returned to Leslie often and she always helps me correct my course and get back on track. She’s the best!

I am amazed at how Leslie is way ahead of the way most people approach the change process. I have been using techniques and tools she gave me years ago that are just now being talked about as innovative and cutting edge.

I came to see Leslie after a breakup I found myself regretting. I was depressed and unmotivated, questioning my decision to let a woman go I had really loved. I was unhappy with my work and restless to find a place for my creative energy.
Leslie showed me how happiness is an inside job, how I am the one in charge of whether I am happy or not, and that it is not contingent on who is in my life, or what job I have, or if I have been signed by a record company or not.
Leslie empowered me to discover what I really want. As a result I feel a lot more powerful and confident and have been making consistent choices that support my happiness. I feel a tangible change in my ability to be happy, to set myself up to feel happy and satisfied with my life.
Because I am tending to my own well-being I am seeing possibilities that I couldn’t see before. I seem to be drawing things to me that put me in a position to get more of the things I want.
I feel a lot better in so many areas. I have a job I like expressing my creativity as a graphic designer. I have been promoting my band and we have been getting some very cool and high profiled gigs. I have been developing better relationships, including friendships with other men, connecting more authentically, having more fun.
In general I am doing what I want to do. I am good with me.
